PikPik Park

After the art jamming night with all the other artists, seems like we get inspired and want more interaction in our creative world. PikPik is originally a panda boy, who would disguise himself into different other animals followed by our imagination, we made PikPik fish, PikPik tiger, PikPik deer before, but never put them all together... what if all these PikPik animals are friends and can talk to each other?!?! kekeke...

ZoeLydia and I suddenly got a thought... I said to her "I want a Pik Park!" hahha... then here we go, we made a PikPik Park out with our goldfish swimming in the air, giraffe with the ruler neck, something like an alpaca, which is a super funny looking animal, etc.

We combined the photography and illustration together to visualize this PikPik Park series, we use our friend Sharon's children to be our models, they are the best PikPik children ever! B Bu is the bigger brother 4 years old and Mei Mei is the little sister who is 3, they are lovely!

B Bu & Mei Mei did a great job in the photo-shoot, after we fed them loads of candies & the assistance of the father who play with them for hours, they act very well! (but we were exhausted!!!)

Hope you enjoy in PikPik Park, even though it is not a real one.

By the way, this time some of the PikPik animal hairstyle is inspired by Alexander Mcqueen x Lady Gaga... see that pair of hump-like bun or ears.

PikPik Art Jamming

PikPik met 4 artists from Amesterdam earlier, during their stay in Hong Kong for their group exhibition, they did some live performance & little bit of art jamming...

with Chaz @ The London Police, the pikpik girls are big fans of them, we get inspired by their work, everytime we look at their characters the Lad and the Dog, they are super cute, and we are feeling so happy, this time Chaz is in Hong Kong, we had a chance to meet him and draw with him, he even gave us some tips how to draw a better line, woohoo~ that's so awesome.

HATCH Launched in Hong Kong

The exclusive launch party was being held on 10 December 2009, in ArtFinger Gallery, Hong Kong. Its our honour that PikPik joins Hatch, and with great support from our friends, fans and professionals in creative industry, it was a wonderful start of HATCH.HK on that night.

Clockenflap 2009

Can't believe its already April of this year, seems like so many things happned on PikPik since last year, but still haven't updated on the blog for long... ok, here we go... back to 2009 November.

Its Novermber 2009, the 2nd year of Music and Multi-media Arts festival called Clockenflap was back in town, it was held in the futuristic grassland of Cyberport, Hong Kong. How nice we can have one day out to enjoy the sunshine & picnic in Hong Kong, wine, music & friends, which is not very common here... oh... we love it, & we all miss it like the days we were in Europe!

PikPik always love to make friends, and here in Clockenflap, we met this little cute boy Kin! oh my god... who doesn't want this cute DJ baby! he is Japanese & English mixed, and seems like he likes to bite everything... see the pictures...

we met another cute girl Samantha, she is learning to walk, Sam's mother said we shall meet again next year in Clockenflap, till then Sam should be able to dance with us!

well... just rolling some cigarettes, but since it is not very popular here, whenever we take this out, misunderstanding happens, and from the way it is being twisted, you can tell we are not good at it at all, can't smoke though

finally after dusk, the performance are getting better...

Good to know this interesting duo Yacht, but forget where they come from.
